Kuki Tyagi

Principal / CEO

Kuki Tyagi joined The Cambridge High School – Abu Dhabi in the summer of 2022, marking her welcome return to the school, having previously served as Vice Principal/Director, Quality Assurance, since 2015. She has also served as a Governor, Teaching and learning for the Local Advisory Board across GEMS network of schools. In fact, her service to GEMS Education students extends as far back as 2011, when she first joined the group’s operations across PAN India as Education Officer and then the Concept Leader – Curriculum and Professional Development, wherein she was leading school inspections, performing quality assurance checks, devising curriculum and delivering professional development programmes for school leaders and teachers. She was extensively involved in leading school operations and educational administrative set up.

Kuki boasts more than 22 years’ experience in educational leadership, administration, professional development and teaching, and has worked in various senior leadership roles within diverse curriculum settings in top-rated schools in the UAE, India and Australia.

Kuki’s training, teaching and administration experience have been with specific focus on professional development for staff to enhance pedagogical understanding and practices, curriculum development, school inspections and review, improvement planning and school turnaround projects. Her extensive experience includes driving High Performance Learning (HPL) successfully securing accreditation, monitoring and developing the quality of teaching and learning to improve and maximise student outcomes and progress.

Working in international, multicultural environments with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds has given Kuki a valuable perspective on education. She holds a professional teaching qualification from Australia and a Master’s in Education from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia.
