Ms. Rukshana Ali

Rukshana is a highly experienced and compassionate senior leader whose career in education began in London in 2009. Since moving to the UAE in 2021, she has held roles, including Head of Secondary and Assistant Vice Principal, dedicating herself to the success and well-being of every student. 

Her educational journey began with a BSc Hons in Mathematics from the University of Greenwich and a PGCE from the University of Oxford. As a lifelong learner, she is committed to staying at the forefront of educational best practices, ensuring her work aligns with the UAE's forward-thinking vision for its children.

Throughout her career, Rukshana has been a driving force for positive change. She has developed and implemented quality assurance policies to improve teaching and learning and has directed professional development programs to ensure that educators are equipped with the skills needed for excellence in the classroom. She believes in a data-driven approach, using assessments and reporting to inform decisions that lead to real student progress. This meticulous focus on standards has fostered an environment where students are encouraged to be proactive and engaged learners.
Rukshana's leadership journey has been shaped by her diverse experiences. She has a proven track record of managing teams and empowering staff to become effective agents of change. Her collaborative spirit extends to spearheading initiatives, such as working with multiple school branches to enhance the quality of mathematics, which resulted in improved student performance. She is a firm believer in servant leadership, a philosophy that places the needs of the school community first. She has also earned her NPQH from the UCL Institute of Education.
