Hello everyone. I am a veteran teacher with 34 years of teaching experience. I hold a Master degree in Leadership and Management from the University of the Free State in South Africa. I also have a Higher Educational Diploma (4 years) from the Oudtshoorn Teachers College.
Before joining TCHS, I had 19 years of teaching experience in South Africa as the Head of the Biology Department as well as being the Vice Principal towards the end. I joined TCHS in September 2005 as Head of Department in Science. Working in international schools and teaching multi-talented students is a privilege and very enriching. As a leader, I always like to take challenges and lead the team from the front. We have a very experienced and dedicated team in Science. Beyond my qualifications and experience in education, I also offer a number of characteristics and values to my school, which contribute to the development of well-rounded students.
I am very proud for having given the opportunity to touch the lives of many students over the years who have become successful adults in their working environment.
