Hello everyone, my name is Faiza Rashid Lone. I hold an M-Phil degree in International Relations. I started my teaching career in 2013 in Pakistan.
I teach History to KS3, IGCSE and A-Levels students. In more than 5 years of my teaching career, I have received various awards for the best IGCSE and A-Level results. In three consecutive years, 2016, 2017, 2018, my students got four distinctions in IGCSE History. I believe that the best part of being a teacher is to see your students excel in the educational field and be proud that you were a part of their success.
I joined GEMS Cambridge High School in August 2018 as a History teacher and later was given additional responsibilities of heading the Humanities Department. In the leadership role, I look forward to work towards achieving the aim of my school, which is to provide the best education to all of our students, with a key focus on teaching and learning.
