Ala holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic Language & Literature from Al Balqa’ Applied University, Amman, Jordan. In addition, she also has PGD in Education from Abu Dhabi University.
Over the past 13 years, she has a consistently progressive track record of outstanding performance as a teacher of Arabic Language, Islamic Studies and Social Studies both to the native and non-native speakers from Primary to Secondary levels. For the past 5 years she has distinguished herself as one of the GEMS most efficient Head of Departments for the three Mandatory Subjects. She is innovative in her approach, methodical and meticulous in carrying out her duties to the highest expectations.
Abreast of the 21st century schools framework and well-equipped with the best Teaching & Learning skills, Ala leads her team very effectively towards achieving the department’s continuous development goals with students’ progress and with High Performance Learning at the center of all individual and collective efforts. Hence, she rightly claims that in her Department ’Every Learner is Engaged (ELE)’ and ‘No Learner is Left Behind (NLLB)’! Ala has many hobbies that help both her Department landscape and entire school community life at large such as story telling and writing, Arabic design & decoration art and UAE cultural heritage
